Sexplorer–"Do you know what your name means in England?"

Yes, I do. And I live up to that "meaning" all the time. Being free to be Randy/randy has been a looooong journey.

Them: “You’ve been asked the ‘randy’ question a lot, huh?

Me: “My whole life”

To answer the question...

In England, the slang meaning of my name “Randy” is horny. Austin Powers is famously quoted in his movies saying, “Do I make you randy, baby?”

My maiden name is Richard Randall Thomas II. My bio father, who was completely inappropriate all the time, named me after himself. He said to me when I was a teen that he went by Randy as well because he liked the horny definition. He said that “Dick” was a shortened name for Richard, and all the Thomas men (my 5 uncles and cousins) were infamous for all having horny dicks. He also said he chose II instead of JR (junior) because there was nothing junior about our “manhood”.

I roll my eyes at the statement coming from him about our manhood, but I also acknowledge that he’s not wrong. ;)

My bio dad is effed up in oh so many ways

He effed me up in oh so many ways. He doesn’t deserve to have me named after him. That’s why I took my husband’s name, eagerly.

That said, he also wasn’t wrong about the Thomas men being known as horndogs all over middle Tennessee…
