After a lifetime of indoctrinated fear, ignorance, and self-loathing, coming out of the closet has helped me feel comfortable in my skin... for the first time.

Between 1982-1986 I was a nervous gay teenager who felt uncomfortable changing in the high school gym locker-room. While other boys seemed confident and enjoyed being nearly nude, I did everything I could to hide and avoid the mirrors.
