Here in Florida, from time to time, we have storms. Big storms. Big enough to have names and everything. The weather warnings seem to be getting worse for us here in Orlando. I live in the suburbs north of Orlando, so… not looking so great. The east side of these things is usually the worst of it. That said, I have my parents who live outside of Tampa, and they may need to flee this way. So for those inclined to pray, please do.
I mention all this because who knows what Wednesday through the rest of the week will bring. So my posts for later in the week may not happen. It will depend on if I can get them finished and scheduled to publish even if I am offline. But I don’t like to be rushed when writing/editing, so we will see what happens.
This is supposed to be a “threaded discussion” feature on Substack. Kind of like a chat thread, so if you feel like testing it with me, jump in with a response or comment. Would love to hear from you.
It's 7:20 PM on Wednesday September 28th.... and my power has only flickered once causing everything to reboot. It's only going to get worse overnight. The neighbor's fence to our west is broken in two places so that's concerning. Other than that... all the palm fronds from our two trees that haven't been shed yet this year (its that time of year) are losing a LOT of them now. BUT so far so good. We just have to get through tonight and tomorrow.
